ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS - TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
The Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia will be organizing the 2008 seminar from 17th to 20th December 2008. The 10th annual FEP Seminar is hosted by the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management, UPM.
Seminar Background
Seminar FEP is a yearly affair undertaken by the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The various departments in the Faculty take turns to organize the seminar. This year the responsibility has been given to the Department of Economics.
Seminar Theme
The theme for Seminar FEP 2008 is 'Economics and Business- towards a Sustainable Future'.
Seminar Objectives
The objectives of the seminar are as follows:
1. to provide a platform for lecturers to present their research findings;
2. to create a forum for lecturers to get constructive feedback from peers and experienced researchers and professors in the related disciplines;
3. to bring together academics for interaction and exchange of ideas and/or for an intellectual discourse;
4. to establish a vehicle for networking with similar discipline colleagues from other faculties and universities;
5. to inculcate a research culture amongst members of FEP.
